FIDE IO Seminar Hamar- Norway Results, May 2022
An International Organiser seminar was conducted at Hamar, near Oslo, Norway, on May 6-8, 2022, in parallell with the National Chess School teams Championship for 2022.
The lecturer was Ozgur Solakoglu, the Events Commission Chairperson. The 10 seminar participants were all candidates in the Norway Youth Chess Academy, a 2 year program aiming to prepare young chess-people to become the future leaders of national and local chess activities. The IO-seminar was one of eight weekendseminars for the USF-academy candidates – others including FA-seminar nd FIDE Trainer seminar.
The Hamar seminar went very well and all according to plan. The lectures were relevant and interesting. And all participants achieved the IO-norm for the IO Title Application.
