We would like to announce the results of the procedure “Call for Bids FIDE World Championships 2023”.
The Events Commission has received 10 bids in total:
- 4 bids are for World Senior Team Chess Championships 2023 (presented by: Chess Federation of Italy, Malta Chess Federation, Thailand Chess Association and Chess Federation of North Macedonia)
- 2 bids are for World Junior Chess Championships 2023 (presented by: Montenegro Chess Federation, Mexico Chess Federation)
- 2 bids are for World Amateur Chess Championships 2023 (presented by: Oman Chess Committee, Chess Federation of Italy)
- 2 bids are for World Youth U-16 Chess Olympiad 2023 (presented by: Royal Dutch Chess Federation, Kazakhstan Chess Federation)
