FIDE IO Online Seminar Results, June 2022

FIDE IO Online Seminar was held online from 13^th to 16^th May 2022 via Zoom.

It was organized by the Peruvian Chess Federation under the auspices of FIDE Events Commission.

The opening session was attended by Renzo Gutierrez Medina member of the Peruvian Federation, and IO Stanley Gómez Huertas member of FIDE Events Commission. Mr. Renzo Gutierrez spoke at the beginning of the course about the importance of preparing organizers. In addition, he explained that this type of seminars will be very important within the strategic plan of the new recently elected Peruvian federation. Mr. Gómez thanked the participants for their presence and their interest in learning. He also expressed his hope that these seminars will be taken to all of America.

At the end of the seminar we had the present of Ozgur Solakoglu, Chairman of the FIDE Events Commission, who spoke about the importance of training organizers and their great appreciation for the people who be in encharge of the events.

The Lecturer of the Seminar was the IO/AF Stanley Gómez from FIDE Events Commission.

The Language of the Seminar was in spanish.

Daily lectures were from 16.00-20.00 Perú Time (-5 GMT).  16 May 2022 was the seminar examination test (3 Hours).

Twenty two (22) participants registered from three (3) federations, namely PER, MEX and ESP. Twenty two (22) of them passed the examination test which was held after the end of the lecture.

The Seminar will give FIDE IO norm, Seminar Certificate according to the Regulations for the FIDE Events Commission after the approval of the next FIDE Council meeting.
