FIDE IO Seminar Results / Nabeul, Tunisia
Under the auspices of Fide and of EVE, The Tunisian Chess Federation organized its 3rd International Organizers Seminar from 19 to 21 March 2021. Even if the seminar was postponed one time to allow to chess players from neighbors federations, the boarders remain still closed and only 12 organizers from Tunisia and LBA, participated to the seminar.
The seminar included the following subjects: Regulations for FIDE Events (General Regulations, Specific Regulations, Bid Procedure, New regulations), Regulations of Fide Events Commission (Mission, Members, Training and titles for Organizers) Ratings and Titles, Events Management, Standards of Chess Material.
At the end of the seminar, the attendees took part in the exam and will be given an IO Norm according to the FIDE regulations. The lectures were given by FIDE Lecturer IO/IA & FT Bechir Messaoudi from Tunisia
The opening session was attended by Mr Nejeh Sayah, President of Tunisian Chess Federation , Mr Wassim Sayah, founder of BICA, the Bouhjar International Chess Academy and main Sponsor of Tunisian Chess Federation and Mr Wajdi Chouari, Technical Director of TCF. The participants praised the level of the courses and the huge amount of informations that they benefited from. Thanks to the Tunisian Chess Federation and BICA for the successful organization.
